Kate is an experienced therapist and a school counsellor working in primary and secondary schools in London. She has a wealth of experience working with families, young people and professionals.

Kate is passionate about helping children help themselves and enabling those around them to create the best possible environment for that to happen. Each young person is unique and Kate tailors her skills to the young person's needs. Most importantly she offers the young person time, space and complete acceptance - so that they are able to make sense of their feelings and develop their own coping strategies.

In this process Kate has extensive experience of working with school heads, senior leadership teams and individual teachers to ensure the young person is fully supported. She works with external services such as CAMHS, Social Services, Educational Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language teams. Working with parents and carers is also key to Kate's work. She has trained in the highly successful evidence-based Incredible Years  parenting programme so that she can further support parents, teachers and young people.
