Training
Kate provides mental health INSET training to schools and community centres. Understanding what mental health is and why a child may be behaving a certain way is invaluable in communicating and supporting young people.

Kate offers live and online training with focussed, tailored content for teachers support staff and other therapeutic professionals. The training offers accessible presentations, experiential exercises and practical strategies for the home and classroom.

Kate provides training individually and through her sister company Indigo Therapeutic Services.

INSET Training1:
MANAGING MENTAL HEALTH: staying calm and supportive within the classroom.
1 1/2 hour work shop with PowerPoint presentation for delivery to schools. Understanding mental health and using positive strategies to support young people is key. Creates greater sense of well being and behaviour, focus, communication and attainment in the classroom. Designed to be delivered to teachers, teaching assistants and support staff.
INSET Training 2:
MANAGING ANXIETY IN THE CLASSROOM: A comprehensive flexible course providing information and strategies around identifying and managing different types of Anxiety in children, in the classroom. Available as group INSET or individual training. Can be completed digitally or by hand. Designed for teachers, teaching assistants and support staff.
